Support and Opposition to WWP

It has come to our attention that there are some untruths being repeated about the Wounded Warrior Project.  We'd like to set the record straight with the findings of an independent study of the facts.

Below you will find the original sources of opposition and the supportive documents that reverse the false statements made.  Please read the information and form your own opinion.  We would welcome discussion on the findings.

Wounded Warrior Project

Findings Summary:
A review of several on line articles captured the following results:
·         Three charity watch organizations gave the WWP better than average approval ratings.
·         Several web based articles cited the Veteran’s Today repost of the Staff Sgt. Gordon Alex Grahm (Retired) blog post as the basis of their research.  Gordon Alex Grahm was sued by WWP for defamation and a host of other charges. In Federal court, Grahm “acknowledged he made false and defamatory statements, and the court entered a judgment accordingly, and Dean/HIVI are no longer permitted to make defamatory statements about Wounded Warrior Project.”  SEE ALSO STATEMENT OF RETRACTION for Gordon Alex Grahm's public apology and retraction of his statements.
·         The Wounded American Warrior by blog writer Brian Kolfage  “Debunks” Grahm’s claims.
·         The Independent Voter Network article author Ryan Schuette speaks to the past lawsuit and completed several fact finding interviews to shed more light upon the actual facts vs inflammatory opinions.
